Back

Oxshott is regularly referred to as the “most expensive village in England”, owing to the desirable stock of properties, many of which are within gated private developments to ensure privacy for the residents.

Oxshott is a green, wooded area of Surrey. The Oxshott Heath and Woods is a central part of the village, expanding to over 200 acres of common land. From the top of the sand escarpment in Oxshott Heath, expansive views over towards Dorking and Box Hill can be seen.

THE VICTORIA OXSHOTT

This attractive red brick pub offers a sophisticated take upon the classic British pub experience. Case in point being the beer battered native oysters with seaweed mayonnaise. Certainly not your average boozer, expect an upmarket, enjoyable destination, described in the Guardian as a place that exudes a “certain level of genteel correctness”.

THE BEAR

More of a gastropub than a restaurant, The Bear is a Youngs pub serving British food with a terrace, garden and private dining area. More informal than The Victoria Oxshott, but does without the upmarket appeal.

BELLA LUNA

Bella Luna brings a charming slice of Italy to the heart of Oxshott. Inspired by the neighbourhood brasseries of the Italian cities of Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan, Bella Luna offers an authentic dining experience and menu.
