Henrock

Set within Linthwaite House Hotel in the picturesque fells above Windermere, Henrock offers a set menu that showcases local, seasonal ingredients, drawing inspiration from flavours and culinary techniques discovered by the team during their global travels. Select three courses from a seasonal menu, complete with introductory snacks, a pre-dessert course, and petit fours, all for a fixed menu price of £75.

The Magic Roundabout

Described as a ‘cafe and coffee shop by day, restaurant and bar by night.’ Enjoy a wide variety of food, from cake and sandwiches to grilled food and nachos, in a relaxed atmosphere with ambient music over two floors.

The Angel Inn

Family owned and run, The Angel Inn has the philosophy of offering great service, wonderful food, and a good selection of wines and beers in a relaxed and informal manner. Enjoy classic British food by a crackling fireplace or on their charming garden terrace, offering picturesque views of Lake Windermere.

Hyltons Restaurant

Hyltons Restaurant serves delicious cuts of meat within a warm and cosy atmosphere. Perfectly pair your meal with their global selection of wines. Please note, they exclusively operate on a walk-in basis, and reservations are not available.

Jintana Thai Restaurant

Decorated with imported Thai furniture, artwork and artefacts, Jintana Thai Restaurant offers a welcoming, relaxed environment to enjoy freshly prepared authentic Thai Cuisine. The menu boasts a wide selection of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes, all expertly prepared to order by the skilled team of Thai chefs.

The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant

Enjoy a coffee, light lunch or something a little more substantial while you relax with a drink, taking in the view of the boats at Windermere Marina. Indulge in fresh food and fine wine in a contemporary, relaxed and welcoming setting. If you’d like to extend your evening, the bar is open until 23:00.

Boaters Bar

Boaters Bar is situated on the shore of Lake Windermere offering scenic views across the water. Serving homemade pizza, an extensive variety of craft beer, including some from their own microbrewery, and an impressive assortment list of gins. On weekends, the bar transforms into a lively hub, featuring a diverse lineup of exceptionally skilled vocal artists, comedians, and more for your entertainment.

The Hole in t'Wall

The Hole in t’Wall, is the oldest pub in Bowness, built in 1612. Their menu offers great British home cooked dishes and a wide selection of quality, award-winning real ales. Please note, they do not take bookings online or by the phone.

BAHA

BAHA brings people together, through food, drink, and entertainment over three floors. Indulge in their mouth-watering menu featuring small plates, steaks, sharing dishes, and sweets inspired by and sourced from the Lake District. Sip on an array of creatively crafted cocktails available throughout the day. Every weekend, BAHA hosts live music performances featuring some of the region’s finest talents, ranging from acoustic pop and rock to dance floor anthems.

Trattoria

With terracotta tiles above the kitchen and bar area, and prints of Italy on the walls, you will be transported to the heart of Italy. Trattoria offers Italian food which is prepared to order, with a blend of locally sourced and authentic Italian ingredients, such as their pizza flour from Vesuvius. Their extensive menu includes ciabattas, salads, fresh handmade pizzas, pastas, meat and fish, as well as their homemade desserts, including the timeless favourite, tiramisu.

The Fizzy Tarté

The Fizzy Tarté is the first luxury champagne and cocktail bar in Bowness, offering the largest range of both luxury and high quality branded champagnes. Enjoy a selection of hot and cold food from delicious patisseries, afternoon teas and sandwiches throughout the day, which can be enjoyed between 12:00 – 17:00.
